Connection with Lana is a business name of Taking It Forward Pty Ltd (ABN 30 658 463 524). This policy explains what personal information we collect through connectionwithlana.com, why we collect it and how we look after it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988.

What we collect

• When you request the free postcards: your first name and email address.
• When you sign up to stay connected: your email address.
• When you email us, for example about speaking or books: your name, email address and anything you include in your message.
• The Connection Profile Assessment does not send your answers to us. They stay in your own browser.

How we use it

• To send you what you asked for, such as the postcards.
• To let you know when Lana shares something new, if you have asked to hear from us. You can ask to be removed at any time by replying to any email.
• To reply to your enquiry.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.

Who we share it with

We only share your information with the service providers that help us run this website and our business:

• our website hosting provider in Australia
• our email delivery service, which sends the emails this website sends
• Microsoft 365, which we use for our email

Some of these providers may store information outside Australia. We choose providers that protect personal information to a standard similar to the Australian Privacy Principles.

This website uses cookies that it needs to work properly and to load quickly. We do not use advertising cookies.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep it only for as long as we need it, or as long as the law requires.
